Last night we pulled into our underground parking lot around 10pm, closing the loop on a long road trip. Today, after spending the morning catching up on emails, test knits and some much-needed sleep, then most of the afternoon uploading and labeling images, there is little left in me for a blog post. I’m still processing, emotionally, physically, and digitally, the trip but can say it was wonderful and just what I needed. Over 2,400 kilometers where traveled, 390 photos taken, a continental divide crossed, family visited, wine drunk, and yarn purchased. There will be post about all of that to come but for now here are some panoramic shots that span the trip and a short video clip taken on the Icefields Parkway in the Rockies.
And, as promised, a video clip from the drive from Jasper to Banff. The building on the left, at the end, is the Icefields Info center, directly across from Athabasca Glacier.
